2018 Pfeiffer University Donor Report

the Founders Circle

The Founders Circle recognizes alumni, parents and friends of Pfeiffer who contribute between $5,000 and $9,999 annually to support Pfeiffer University and its various academic and athletic programs. When Miss Emily Prudden first opened the doors to her home school in 1885, she set the course for what would become Pfeiffer University. Over the next half-century, the families of Ebenezer Mitchell, Henry and Annie Merner Pfeiffer, and Gustavus and Louise Foote Pfeiffer, among so many other early supporters, would mold Miss Prudden’s humble beginnings into the comprehensive United Methodist-related institution that it is today.

Some donors Joined the Club using a match from the Russell Challenge in 2017-18. While Russell Challenge donations could support any Pfeiffer program or project, the matching dollars from Ken (’88) and Ann Queen (’87) Russell were donated to the Pfeiffer Fund, providing scholarship dollars to Pfeiffer students in need!  We are deeply grateful to the Russells and all the donors who participated in the Challenge!  Every gift moves Pfeiffer Pforward!
