Pfeiffer Celebrates NCLEX Pass Rate

 

For the second time in two academic years, all graduates of Pfeiffer University’s nursing program passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), the nationwide examination for the licensing of registered nurses, on their first try. And each had job offers by graduation. Charlie Lovett Shares Fresh Perspective on
Alice in Wonderland


Charlie Lovett of Winston-Salem, NC the celebrated author of bestselling novels and widely staged plays for children, is also a noted authority on Lewis Carroll and his famed books Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass.

On Nov. 10 at 7 p.m., Lovett will be the featured speaker in a free talk titled “A Fresh Perspective on Alice in Wonderland,” which he’ll present via Zoom for Pfeiffer University's Friends of the Library. Daisha Oliver ’21 of Monroe, NC is on track to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling and Human Services next spring from Pfeiffer University. Like many students with her major, she envisions becoming a social worker.
