Alumni Awards

Alumni Award Nominations Due Soon

Since 1959, the Pfeiffer Alumni Association has recognized the extraordinary contributions of alumni by presenting two annual awards to deserving individuals. In 2015, the Office of the President created the Presidential Merit Award to recognize young alumni. These awards are presented at Homecoming.  Please nominate an alumnus for recognition by clicking the links below. The submission deadline is May 24, for awards that will be presented on September 25 at the Annual Alumni Gathering.

Arsena Schroeder ’11 Headlines Noteworthy Concert Series

On April 14, Arsena Todd Schroeder ’11 – profiled in the February issue of Pfeiffer’s Forever Falcons headlined a streamed presentation of NoteWorthy, a concert series that “pairs gifted Black and brown artists from Charlotte’s music scene with classically trained musicians.”

She teamed up with Lenora Cox Leggatt (violin), Leonard Mark Lewis (piano), and Chris Suter (guitar).The performance resulted from a partnership with WDAV (89.9-FM) and the FAIR PLAY Music Equity InitiativeClick here to watch a video of it.

Last Call for Golf Tournament

Registration for the 2021 Keith Crisco Memorial Golf Tournament is now live. The tournament will be held on May 17th at Tillery Tradition Country Club in Mt. Gilead, NC. Named in honor of Pfeiffer alumnus J. Keith Crisco ’64, this annual event supports Pfeiffer’s effort to provide the best possible experience for the 360 student-athletes currently enrolled in the University’s athletic programs. Funds raised by the tournament each year provide for equipment, new uniforms, travel expenses, and other sports-specific needs. Please join us, as a sponsor or player, for this fun day at the course! You may enter the tournament as a single player or register a foursome, and a variety of sponsorship opportunities are available.
